Big steering issue

Postby 77dogg on Sat, 04 Jul 2015 7:03 +0000

Hey guys

So I'm having some big issues

Mths wheels squel as you drive her now Iv had 3 wheel alignments done
And it comes back worse,

Now it can drive down the road and jump out and the tyres are bout on massive toe in or toe out always changes with some crazy camber would any one have any ideas?

Because I'm running out of ideas

Now could it be because it's running 35s
Could it be the rack
Or the rack angles to the tie rod ends
I'm not sure anymore

She's got 315s off set not 100% sure and running 5" drop with 3" suspension, but It was all fine until I changed the tie rod ends over and all the problems have started, I have nothing new on it since it has started to do this, besides upper control arms and lower control arms but has had several wheel alignments

Why did you replace the original tie rods?

I had similar problems with my 90 series, it was the steering rack in my case, but you might also want to check the bushes in your control arms.
