ARB wiring harness on 2012 workmate IPF 900 XLS LED

Hi everyone

about to hook up some new IPF 900 XLS led driving lights with an ARB wiring loom witch has instructions for both positive and negitive switched vechiles. I have seen conflicting answers to my question witch is....
Is my 2012 4x4 workmate high beam positive or negative switched. I gather from trolling this fourm that if you have a sr5 with auto headlights than it would be positive and if you don't have automatic headlight illumination (in my case) than it would be negative switched. Can anyone help me or can anyone give me tips to do a test with a testlight??

OK went to ARB and........
the sr hilux is negative and the sr5 is positive for fitting spotties up on 7th Generation Hilux (Negative Switched) you need to hook the black ground wire from the relay to your black/yellow wire into your headlight globe harness and the wire from your switch to the Black wire at the headlight globe harness (not black/white) and that's it done. Hope this helps someone because it did my head in hahaha

Yeah mate half the price of intensity with really nice white light. i haven't seen any ipf hid spotties working so i can't compare but Definitely better than halogen. I haven't taken any pics of the lights working if thats what you mean??

Look at the loom into the light. If you have a black wire with white trace its neg trigger. If its a white wire with black trace its not. I can give you rundown on neg trigger wiring if you need?
