Anti Rattle Towbar Bolt

Does anyone know where I could get a new anti rattle bolt? The old one was seized and snapped when I tried taking it out...

Also where could I find the plastic surround where the tongue goes in?

Any hardware shop, engineering shop or mechanic should have bolt that will fit. Have you got the snapped piece out?

Plastic surround would come from Toyota if it's a genuine tow bar.

Mine siezed, drilled it out, bought a nut and bolt from bunnings and welded on the nut.

My surround bit is up in the hills around Dargo somewhere after being ripped off. I wouldn't bother if u intend to go bush.

It is an af bolt 1/4 unc from memory. Don't ask me why.

I just went and looked at mine, it is bigger than a 1/4 inch. I haven't got a bolt to compare it to, but it would be 10mm if it is metric, or 3/8 if it is imperial.

Yeah mine seized and snapped off. OEM.
Drilled out and re-tapped - now 10mm

Shouldn't matter just don't hang off it with a breaker bar n all will be well. If your worried throw an 8.8 in...
