strange knocking noise

Hey guys just after some advice I've got a 1993 ln106 and it was making a knocking noise from the diff which was not the best so I rebuilt the diff but now it is making a similar knock only when im braking or turning quickly... any ideas on where to start? im thinking maybe wheel bearings or cv's.

sounds like a CV joint to me, try taking off (safely) in full lock either way, and see if the noise is bad.
