Body mount chop

Body mount chop

Postby Davo_SSV on Sun, 21 Dec 2014 7:27 +0000

I just lifted my ute about 3-4" and trying to fit my km2 285/75r16 's on 0 offset wheels. I got a wheel alignment done but they're scrubbing a fair bit on full lock mainly on the driver side when full lock right.
Is there anyway to fix this? I thought this wheel/tyre/lift combo would work without issues.
If not how have people gone about cutting there body mounts? Is it just a matter of taking a grinder to it till it clears or do you have to re weld some steel in there to strengthen it after it's cut
