New member- Green but willing to learn

Hi Everyone,

Bought a 06 Hilux D4D earlier this year and it is my first ute. Live in Melbourne. You can tell it's been in the mines as there's plenty of red dust but that doesn't worry me. It's had a roll bar install, tyres changed to 235/75r15 and a SR5 Bull Bar installed already. It's also got 2 large tool boxes.

I work as a sparky but don't need my hilux for work. Use it mostly for renovating and hopefully towing a boat one day.

Loving how reliable and tough it is.

Need to fix a couple of things;
- CD player doesn't work so have bought a second hand one to replace it with but need to look into security codes etc. (was considering buying an aftermarket eBay head unit off eBay but have heard the quality is variable)
- Seat belt is twisted but I'm hoping this may be a simple fix
- want to install a rear ladder rack (the tray already has square cut outs)

I've already found the site extremely helpful as the members are great at sharing tips.

Looking forward to learning more.
