Hi guys im new to this site, i have a 09 hilux in barbados i heard someone saying you can trick the map sensor into letting the computer read less boost , is there any cheap mods you can do to Get more boost?

there would be but not the best and safe for the lux. standard boost is 16psi and max boost the standard turbo can handle is 21psi or so. if you want more like I have achieved you need to spend a lot of money. e.g. turbo, intercooler, piggyback ecu. or even bigger injectors or caps which I haven't got at the moment.
my setup lets me run 32psi and loves it. but it all comes down to the money issue.
someone was talking about what you want but the life of the turbo it not be there.

There's no cheap mod for boost.
You're really looking at anything from $1800 onwards for any real performance increase that's not going to do any damage.

Thanks for the reply , atm i have a fmic ,ecu shop xd series with a tunit, 3 inch exhaust , im getting 19 psi but just cant seem to get anymore , should i carry it back to the tuner and see if he can raise the boost through the computer maybe ?

Wouldn't waste your time for 2psi, you'll barely notice the difference. Any more than that and you'll just be shortening the life-span of your turbo, there's nothing noticable after 21psi on the standard turbo.
