Do you have the newer model with the occupant detection sensor? It's a yellow light that sits left of the centre display. In addition to the seatbelt warning light the occupant sensor judges weight and determines whether a child or adult is present, which affects airbag deployment.
I have previously seen one of these sensors be out of calibration which incorrectly assumed there was a child present when there was no weight on the seat. It caused the alarm to go off but not the seatbelt warning. You are able to reset the zero point of this sensor via Techstream.
Potentially when you have a bit of weight on the back, the car pitches further over around corners. The next time you have weight on the back and it is consistently faulting, try raising the seatback more upright and forward and see if it affects it.
Apart from that I agree with the others that you may have an intermittent short circuit somewhere.
