I haven't mentioned it before, but a prerequisite to installing these DLC type injectors is having the reflash performed before the injectors are installed. Not sure why but both my Toyota dealer and the Denso dealer told me this, and there was a note inside the box with each new injector saying the same thing, including the relevant Toyota service news number for the reflash.

Best bet is to ring either Sydney Diesel Service (02 9681 7700) or West End Diesel (02 9737 2100) for an informed answer, both these companies are really on the ball with this stuff.

I take it you didnt change your driving style or where you were driving just simply putting these injectors in has made this difference? Im trying to weigh up the expenditure against the potential fuel savings. If they are worth the hype ill grab a set.
On a side note, the guy at suncityspares i spoke to today said they dont need to be coded into the ecu as long as they are matched correctly with your vin number. Is this correct? Has anyone had problems with them not being coded??
