How do I set the time on radio?

I picked up my new 2004 Hilux yesterday, and the radio was in security mode. I worked out how to unlock it searching the internet, as I have no owners manual, but how do I set the clock?

I have tried holding the "set" button and pushing the hours or minutes button, but that doesn't do it?

not sure what model audio unit you have.
there are normally buttons with "set" "h" "m". the set is not to adjust the time. some may have small writing above a button either the "clock" or "disp" . hold one of those and hit the "h" or "m" to adjust time.
see how that works.

My guess ids you have been trying to set it using the set button - WRONG WRONG WRONG. That would be sensible. With your acc on turn your radio off then while pushing the button marked disp also push the h or m buttons to adjust the time. BTW you are not the first to fail setting your toyota clock 101
