I had a ford xr8' and have since traded it for my Hilux, never again would I buy a ford It had all the bells and whistles, but eventually all the bells started to rattle and the whistles started falling off, same with the ranger I reckon. It's funny as when ever I see a war torn country on the tv I always see a hilux with about 15 rebels driving it, they are there because they last. Go the Hilux and its a joke by the way, no tears please..

bought my white SR5 Auto DC-TD june 2012
used 4500km, genuine tub liner, hard lid, bonnet&head light protectors, tow bar..
35% tint front windows...arb delux bar, IPF wiring loom (lights replaced with SPC not even connected)..
payed 54K from a nissan dealer in Melb....at that time it was a 5-mth wait in Adelaide (couldnt even get a test drive)
on the Fri i payed a 1k hold deposit by Ph so i could fly over and have a look on sat....was back in Adel at 8pm sat night with it in my driveway

thought i did alright. infact i couldnt be happier
