So I found my self a hell cheap arb bullbar on gumtree near my place only problem is no bolts come with it that I need for assembly. Which isn't my issue.. my question is its a 3 loop bullbar and I was wondering if I could cut the two outer loops off and turn it into a single loop.. has anyone done this sort of modification before any advice?

Can be easily done, not legal in regards to airbag compliance but it can be done. Ya know what I say, F&#k the police! You'd be very unlucky to get booked for it as most of them would know the difference, only issues you may have is with insurance if ya have a accident. I've made my own bar an I reckon cos it's still got the arb sticker on the cops don't even look twice.

I have an older model and I cut the centre hoop out and fitted in 3mm plate to house a light bar,
Been pooled over a few time and only ever questioned about the quanty never the placement nor the bar being modifyed

Well assuming the job is done well and looks Profesional who's to know the difference.
