I was thinking bout the T13 TJM bullbar for my 2012 hilux.
To be fitted they either have to cut the front bumper or add that black plastic to fill the space.
Can anyone tell me if its the same case if I was to go for an ARB bar of the same?

Not with an ARB bar mate, they come with rubber infills that go under the headlights.

I have a T13 on a 2012, they cut the bumper to mount the bar and there are no infills.

just seen your photos strangenuts, looks nice- do they have a separate t13 bar for the SR and SR5? i noticed yours looks like it is wide enough to still fit some flares beside it which is what i want. i dont want to go buy one and have the flares sticking out past the bar once it is installed

That's actually a serious roo/livestock deflecting bar, designed to send them down ad under the car not over the bonnet/through the screen.

Could've used one of these up in Karratha when I hit a BIG roo at BIG speed in a troopy...

Hi guys aftera bit of feed ack on the bats you've got. I'm tossing up between ARB TJM OR Ironman and want a winch bar with scrub bars.. Just wondering what ppls experiences are and any issues with quality?? Also I would like to colour code it silver so what's the best options.. I've heard of cracking paint etc.. Thanks

Thomo you get what you pay for: ARB are expensive but good quality TJM have a similar bar to ARB's at a cheaper price. Iron man well, IMO they look good but that's it. There's other bars that Monster rides is selling that look fantastic and are not as common as these bars - see sponsor section on home page.
Paint - I can see only 2 reasons for it cracking 1 is in the painting process, obviously cheaper = quality. Or flexing same reason as above.

ARB deluxe non winch without foglights colour coded. Awesome bar.
I think ARB in Townsville get everything painted local but the paint on mine is tough as. Takes a bit to make it scratch.

Out of interest, has anyone got the weight differences for alloy to steel bars? I imagine a bit, but wondering if its a big difference. Thats one thing companies don't advertise!

Got a OEM one on now & have a TJM13 coming in a few weeks.
Cheers, Drew
