I hat a heavy duty exeedy clutch installed and not long after had really bad vibrations in 4th(mainly) and 5th gear. went back to standard clutch plate but left heavy duty pressure plate in and instantly fine again

Ryan1kd wrote:The vibration is coming on under strong acceleration in 4th and 5th. Any other gear / rpm there is no issue. I recently got a chip aswell which has dramatically increased torque. I just sounds like a bearing or gear chattering under load. Probably worn out.

Indicative that the clutch plate you pulled out is the issue. Although it's new, maybe check it for balance, not warped or buckled. To do this find someone with a lathe and dial guage.

Take the clutch back to where you got it from.
