Nah, send your photo to HPD and they will fix you up. Great bunch of guys there. I had some install issues with mine, they manufactured a bracket to suit!
Well, I've got to get back to work. When I stop rowing, the slave ship just goes in circles.

Hello
I've had the HPD fitted for about 10,000km now and been checking fairly often out of curiosity and every time there has been water in it.
I saw on another thread that it could be condensation so didnt think it was anything to worry about but all the other pictures I've seen shows clean oil, should I be concerned about this.

This was after a couple of thousand.

Cold weather leads to condensation, Shaggy.
Nothing to worry about.
The HPD catch cans are pretty awesome. ;)
Catch you later, John.

Yeah that would be ideal, defo to noisey to be strapped near the firewall.

It just vibrates due to the spring inside it basically. It's not to bad. Just another noise to learn to love!

Yeah its tolerable but would be better gone. Pressure relief valve makes a racket just off idle.

So I've got a provent in the shed ready to fit, is there any reason it can't be fitted further away to avoid hearing the noise? Given its not massive flow or pressure does pipe length matter if I was to install it further forward?

I can't see it being a problem as long as you use the correct hose. I'm gunna put some rubber under the mount on mine to see if it helps before I move it.

My provent doesn't seem noisy at all. Maybe I'm just deaf, lol

Provent makes bugger all noise. You only hear it on decelaration at low speeds anyway.

I also have a HPD (High Performance Diesel) catch can. Strongly recommend one. Build tough, no rattles and no filters to replace. I have posted the link below if people are looking for one.

The HPD catch can are pretty awesome. They keep most of the oil residue out of the intercooler.
That's what I don't like the most about the oil residue coming back with the gases off the crankcase.

I guess getting an old type Oil Bath filter as still used on Land Rover Series III would be a perfect setup. you'll only fill up the oil instead of using oil :)

Not sure if there are oil bath filters that prove a good alternative to the default mounted airfilter box. Migt be a strong mod in combination with this one :)

Got myself a HPD catch can after reading all the comments.

Nice looking unit

Stands out when you open the lid tho, shiny alloy can in a dirty engine bay!!

Now to see how much oil she catches!
