Canopy for trays

Postby troyco on Fri, 06 Jul 2007 6:58 +0000

I spent time at triple m today and purchased two alloy used / seconds trays which I will cut down to the size I want and fix to racks. I will post photos when finished. Picking up the trays next thursday. I am buying two as my old (2004) lux is with my son and he will do a similar canopy.

The canopies are almost done just a bit of tweaking on the front end with some 50x75 angle and then off to the upholsterers for the sides here are some pics.

The beginning

some one always has to get hurt by the 9" grinder!

07 finished almost...

04 finished almost..

The trays used were alloy triple m trays with a little bit of customising all works well we are pretty pleased with the outcome. The weight loading capacity is the same as the tray except the springs would not hold it all!!

cheers
