They can be found at Coopers Plains. They took over the Purple Pig last Christmas (2012).
Their Cat No. is 99-100775.
15.9mm 30R7 hose made by Gates.
Hope this helps, the Roo.

Thanks Roo, I actually visited the Geebung branch on Friday and got what I needed, much higher quality gear than what the fitting kit comes with and only cost me about $60 :D

Hellbound Is right Dan. Just double checked mine then cause you made me second guess myself haha. The air runs in the top of the unit and down the middle of the filter (which doesnt sit all the way out to the inner edges). Through it and then out the bottom outlet (which is actually on the side towards the bottom) the base of the unit is funnelled into the drain pipe.

Sorry its hard to explain but yes thats the way its supposed to be. Once you see the inside of them you will understand ;)

I installed mine last week and I find this really weird.

The inlet being at the top means the vapour goes down the inside of the filter (much smaller surface area than the outside of the filter), then the oil is trapped inside the filter and has to seep through it (to the 'clean' side none the less) to drain.
I've noticed on the provent 100 & 150 which are essentially just a smaller version of the 200, that the intake and output directions are reversed. Surely this can't be a type-o on the 200 manual that was never picked up?

It just seems very, very odd to me.

Checked mine and the inlet is through the top but the hole leading into the filter is bigger than the inlet then plenty of surface area on the filter itself.

Does anyone with a provent 200 fitted find it makes a noise on deceleration at low revs.

I can only describe it as a bbbbbrrrrrrrrr vibration type noise. From looking at the unit it seems the only thing that could make a noise is the relief valve under the lid. When I remove the lid the noise stops

Is This noise normal or do i have a dud can....

I have both, chip it gave me the provent style ond because I waited six months for a chip that wasn't ready.

Both are identical to each other, the Mann Hummel filter fits into the Chip it one.

After reading a lot about this (thanks to Hellbound who brought this to our attention initially) I finally got myself moving and fitted one up.

I ended up doing mine a little differently to what I've seen here, may give some others further food for thought.

My truck has the return pipe going back in the corrugated hose just past the air filter but it worked out nice & neat. I will source some insulation material to wrap around both hoses just for piece of mind.

I fabricated a mounting bracket out of some metal I had lying around and mounted it on the drivers side inner guard, between the air filter box (utilized one of it's mounting bolts) and the brake master cylinder (picked up 2 unused holes .. 1 plain square and 1 round with a nut underneath).

The 2 existing fittings (on the engine & air intake are both for 5/8" hose.

Both the fittings on the Provent are designed to take 1" hose, BUT, the inside diameter of those 2 fittings was a perfect fit for the 5/8" hose outside diameter so it could be pushed firmly up INSIDE!

Because I was now only using the 5/8" hose I could therefore easily achieve the tight bend required for the return line.

So bought a metre of 5/8" hose and had a little left over, used the existing hose clamps to go to and from the engine and a metre of 1/2" hose & clamp for the drain pipe, but haven't got a tap for the end so have just plugged it for the time being. It will end up so that it is accessible from under the vehicle somewhere.

Even though the outlet on the Provent is lower than where it goes into the air intake hose I don't think there will be an issue, the intake air will create a strong enough airflow to suck air from the Provent, I hope.

No, it will be loose, the Mann Hummel filter in the chinese made catch can.
You will also have to buy the filters off Chip It, as well, mate.

Ye now, it's going to the toilet properly, mate.
With the Mann Hummel Provent 200, you will get a bit of noise, as it has a diaphragm built into it.
On the Hiluxes, you will get a bit of noise, especially if you mount it over the driver's side, where I reckon, it should be mounted.
This noise is normal, and you will here the noise more over the driver's side.
