When my horn died it was also clicking but the click was coming from the horn itself. After i replaced it all was fine.

That's to say - if you can try with a new horn give it a go before searching for something more.

Horn relay location?

Hi,
I have a 2005 KUN26 Hilux and trying to find the location of the horn relay? The horn has stopped working, the fuse is okay and tested the horn straight to the battery and is working fine.

Cheers

Same issue on 2007 model. Have changed spiral cable, no improvement. Where IS this relay. The fault must be in or after the relay.

Rocket or Boxhead?? I would love a pointer please - been going in circles all day.

Its in the engine bay fuse box according to the service manual. You lift up the row of spare fuses and its underneath that.

Thanks for that. I had that section partially out yesterday but could see nothing. Will get in there a little deeper today and see what I can find.
Cheers

Thanks Flip9, the horn now works :D I found it impossible to test this relay in situ. so removed the relay ( it appears to be 4 relays in one package) There was no damaged/burnt terminals so tested from there to the horn and found open circuit. This turned out to be a broken wire at the horn terminal but still connected by the insulation, so looked normal. Stripped and soldered to the loop wire for second horn and all works well.

Special thanks to my local Toyota dealer for the diagnosis of failed spiral cable. Their quote $300 plus and needed the car for 2 days or 2 appointments!!!!???? Fortunately I bought an after market unit for $40 and fitted myself. At least I have an oem spare.

Good to hear. Curious to know what other relays in the unit are for
