iam sure you will be happy with it ,have now driven approx 200kms with it half full and water sloshing is non existent with normal day to day bitumen driving, only present on speed humps and going down gutters etc ,off road you may hear a little more . FTA asked for my photos to possibly use in thier installation instructions and they liked my idea of covering the shackles ,which they mentioned they would do in house with some form of tubing.
cheers

Received mine today and installed it. Doesnt take long to put in, a little fiddling around with the location and angle of the taps but overall im very happy with it. You have to fill it up with the seat folded back into its normal position otherwise the tank will overfill and you wont be able to get the seat back up. It will get a workout this easter but so far it looks the goods.

Cheers, josh

No they werent sammo, i dont think that will be too much of a drama. Im leaving it full of water for about 2 or 3 days while its in place to test for any leaks on the fittings and to get any taste (if there is any) out before i go away for easter. Should be a well used item :D

2007lux-I retained my child seat anchor point and reinstalled the child seat ,used a extension strap to move buckle away from bladder.

I too would like one of these bladders, and i too have a baby seat ! i,m a little confussed over this extension strap! is this a permanent strap? or you just used it to get the buckle down?

Mick,

Interesting ...... I've got a small sub woofer at the back so wasn't too sure if the bladder at the back seat might work.

Could you provide more details of you have any of the one from Opposite Lock?

Brendan,

My issue is one child seat in the back and another on the way, so two seats mean no rear seat mod for about 5 years or using the space behind there.

All I know is it is made by boab (recognised brand) goes over the tail shaft tunnel in the back. I will be going in to OL tomorrow to have a chat, will let you know.

I dont think you would fit two 20 L drums down there mate. Not only that, this tank has a hose so you dont need to continually put your seat forward in order to get out any water out. And it holds 10L more than two drums. And you can fill it without moving the seat also. Cant really see how the drums would be more practical.........

The tank only holds 40ltrs same as two drums with the practical side of things u can take the drums out and use them on you camper or other applications . I think the tank looks good but way over priced for what it is in my books

Driver: Sounds like the drums are what you want and suits your needs better....
The bladder suits other members needs better and is what they want....
Also the bladder holds 50L, your two 20L drums only hold 40L, so therfore the bladder holds 10L more, it aint the same :?

So josh, how is it going, with driving around with it full, any taste of the rubber etc etc?

There has been a bit of a misunderstanding I have been talking about the tank from opposite lock like the one In the above post not the bladder sorry guys for the confusion .
