Gday

Hey all been lurking for a while whilst looking for a hilux. I'm Matt and im 24. I once owned a 93 Toyota Hilux 2.8TD dual cab that was lifted with 33's. I had that for a while and was a very good truck both on and off road. I have upgraded a month ago to a 2008 Xtra Cab D4d with steel tray, ARB winch bar and side steps. It has 80,000 on it and drives like a dream compared to the old 2.8.

Thanks for all the info on this site, it showed me what to look out for in the new diesels. Cant help but feel that Toyota has softened the old Hilux into a more driver friendly truck than a work horse. I treat this thing like its made of glass compared to the old 2.8.
