Hi from Tasmania!

G'day all. Only discovered this site today, can't believe its been here and I haven't heard of it!

A bit about me. Male, 35, Married, to Kristie, who is possibly the biggest Hilux fan in Tas if not Aus. She has claimed our TRD Hilux No: 0302 which we purchased new as her's, and its her daily driver. It replaced a 2004 SR5 Hilux Diesel we also purchased new.

I drive an 80 Series Landcruiser, but only purchased that to tow the boat, don't want to back the TRD into the salt water to launch the boat hey.

Love our TRD, it's just a fantastic bus, but have been without it for the last 3 months as we had a little mishap which involved an Angus cow on a back road at 100 km/h. Very impressed with how the TRD handled the impact, and our repairer has commented several times as to how well put together it is, no chassis damage, just panels, lights, radiator, intercooler etc. Thank god for insurance, or more to the point, for the farmers insurance!

Look forward to meeting fellow members, and finding out what others have learned about their rigs.

G'day all, and thanks for the welcome. From up in the North East, called Winnaleah home for 30 years, now living in a small coastal town called Tomahawk, so spending alot more time beach driving rather than rocks and red mud.

Yeah we all came out of the crash with only whiplash, and the boy, Rory 4, had a sore knee, but the cow was a wreck. Sorry I killed it, cause I'm sure it was the only cow in Aus that could do double backflipps ha ha.
