Hello from Trinidad & Tobago

Postby Wolla on Thu, 24 Aug 2017 4:01 +0000

Hi everyone,

I'm from the caribbean twin island country Trinidad & Tobago and very new to owning a hilux. Recently bought a 2009 2.5L, really enjoying it so far. Got a 2inch lift on it for now, cant go too high until my kids get a bit older, hard enough getting them in and out of the baby/toddler car seat as is. But will be upgrading to mud terrain tyres and a rear steel pipe bumper in the near future. I tried post a pic, see link below.

Looking forward to searching the forums to get some upgrade options, figuring out any troubleshooting issues, maintenance advice, etc.

All the best.

If you find any Holdens over there any chance of grabbing ID plate photos? GMH used to assemble HQ to HZ in Trinidad I think it was.

Not as rare as LHD HK Holdens in Hawaii. As yet never found one.
