Hiya, at the top of the tailgate where the 3 sheets are spot-welded to each other the spot welds are peeling apart.. No coin for panel beater stuff, thinking either pop rivets or screws & nuts.
Any thoughts, comments or suggestions? Maybe even other solutions?

Araldite ? Yes - I'm serious. The slow curing version and good prep is worth a try.

I was thinking of throwing some liquid nails in with the rivets or screws & nuts. Only cos it's a bit more flexible than other bonding agents once set. Thoughts???

Ended up just using staino' pop rivets and NO goo. Held like a dream, let's see what the lifespan is.

Lifespan isn't great.
Checked the "Spare" tailgate I have in the shed and it's the right type. Just have to measure the hinge width to be certain, but wondering if anyone has swapped one out? How difficult are the No. 3 (or 4???) Phillips Heads to undo? Will I need a rattle gun for these?
