Thanks!

HPD catch can works well, not even close to 5,000km...

Not sure what or where the white debris came from?

I'm probably gonna purchase the same unit soon. Any recommendations on installation? I believe the advantage of this unit over the pro vent is you never have to replace the filter. You just wash it. Am I correct?
cheers

Straight forward installation, comes with a bracket the only advice is keep the metal pipe that mounts to the cylinder head and into the turbo otherwise the hose supplied will be too small. Talktheroo wrote up a good how-to. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11902&start=420

Thats correct and one of the reason's why I switched to HPD.

Yep, one of the best units on the market.
You can get a stainless steel mesh filter for the MH Provent 200 catch cans, as well.
Makes it so that you don't have to change out filters every 30,000kms.
No with that stainless steel filter, no maintenance except cleaning.
The HPD catch can looks so good though. ;)
Catch you later, John.

Filled the shocks with 250 psi of nitrogen, went down and got a wheel alignment still more fine tuning but I'll do that after I raise the front 30mm tomorrow.

May drop shock pressure to 200 psi

Gotta pull the bar off and redesign the outer wings and inside, rubbing and alignment issues..

Total chaos heim steering clevis needs to be machined down so it fits inside the steering rack, turning circle is rubbish then reinstall inner tie rod boots.

Steering arm needs paint

Still waiting on the hydro bump stop and extended cv shafts.

Install this bash plate at some stage

Cross Country intercooler is giving me the shits, don't buy one if you've got a body lift nothing lines up, hate how the intercooler it self mounts to the bonnet latch with the bottom freely sitting on grommets, at highway speeds you can see the bonnet being raised and bouncing around.

I've bought some recessed bonnet pins going to knock the top mount off the intercooler and raise it 20mm because the angle is so shit the pipes rub, headaches..

John I need your help! Having brake issues. Now the vehicle brakes fine its just when I stop at an intersection or lights the pedal is spongy and sinks to the floor, when the vehicle is off the brake pedal feels rock hard which is what I prefer. I have gone over bleeding the brakes numerous times and zero bubbles are present, check valve is fine and creating vaccum have taken the master cylinder off and checked seals which are fine.

Do you know the correct brake booster pushrod length? If you measure the tip with a steel ruler to the flat surface of the booster where the master cylinder mounts too what is it? I know the workshop manual says 0mm but thats with an SST.

2012 SR non VSC, 25000km
150 series Prado brake calipers
DBA T3 4x4 338x35 rotors
QFM HPX pads
Braided brake lines

Vehicle off

Vehicle on

I'm about to wave the white flag and see a brake mob, thanks.

Sounds like you just have typical brake feel from a diesel - diesels don't naturally produce vacuum like petrols engines do and when stopped (ie idling) the vacuum pump can be overrought by the demands of the brake booster - it will create the pedal feel you describe.

At idle it does yes. I've since learnt to ignore it, once the wheels are stopped they don't require much pedal effort to keep them that way
