Got a call from the panel beater car will be ready tomorrow :D
Quickly followed by a call from the guys at Autobarn, my clutch has arrived! Oh and I'll be picking up a new exhaust as well. After that the last things to be added to this truck is a drinking water tank, outlets for the aux battery and the ladder rack I picked up for fifty bucks to support the awning. Thats going to be abput the end of my build.

Scratch that, now its been a long night, back half of the exhaust is out two more pieces and the new one is going in, glad I started tonight would have taken too long otherwise. Any tips for the nuts on the turbo flange?

Been a while since I installed my exhaust but I managed to undo the two bottom nuts with a single hex socket and the top one through the bonnet. Worked perfect.

Hey Sinan, thanks for that, that was my plan along with a healthy soaking in bolt off.

I highly rate it so far, have scraped a few times and nudged a few things not a provlbelm. I like the winch cradle and big access ports at the top. Only regret i have is it's a bit so so on looks. But I bought it to protect from animal strikes rather than look tough so overall I'm happy.

Going away tomorrow for the weekend so I put the old system (back half) back on. Figured it wasn't worth it right at this very second and if I busted a stud I'd ruin the weekend. Have fun out there.

Test fitted up a 59L water tank that I picked up from BCF. Its a perfect fit! I'll fab up some straps and a guard and plumb it all in for pure clean drinking water anywhere I go!

If I'm honest Jay, the build is nearing conclusion. These are really all just little things, it's been very fun to throw money and time at my car. Now it's time to get out and enjoy it. That of course invariably means fixing it when it breaks but that's what keeps me busy on rainy weekends!

Ah hell, jungle flares ordered from the states. The old ones were dodgily put on and not really suitable for my offset. Oh well... :D.
