well i believe theres more truth on this site than they say...

Mate if you are putting in an ARB locker in the front with 4.1:1 ratio diff gears the locker is RD121. You do not need the Prado carrier.

Pretty sure on this mate but double check with max or Rod about it

hay yeah we took the bush track up and came down the west coast tracks main one is between exmouth and ningaloo station is called yardie creek road.
if you stay on the coast but they car all bush tracks/woops/ruts and what not you can make it all the way to coral bay, as what we did. the one spot i would've spent more time was at ningaloo station it is magnifacent..

oh yeah the exhaust is excellent starts better and runs smoother oh and sounds sweet..

hahaha na not quite just missed out, RD121 suits gearing 3.7:1 and down and RD111 suits 3.9:1 gearing and up..
as what i can gather from reading the gearing bible, they dont make 4.1:1 gearing for the hilux, but they make them for a prado 120, the front diff center is the exact same as the hilux front so you can interchange to gear up...
hope thats right, anyone let me now if im wrong..

You will need the Prado carrier in order to house the 4:1 ratios.
What you need is a prado carrier ideally with the 4.1:1 ratios in it already or the RD111 which will be used as a carrier and then source some 4.1:1 from Toyota or a wrecker, which will only come from the Prado.

Best just ask mmaaxx to clarify, but I'm 95% sure that's right.

Mate rig looks brilliant, Whats the gearing like without the lower set up?
Can you get away with it or is low range and takeoff affected too much, may be a stopper on my 33's idea :(

Once you have done some off roading and 10,000km on the black top I will be very keen to know your opinion on those goodyear mud tyres as they were my second choice to the KM2's but only second choice by price.

To fit 33" tyres, depending on wheel and offset chopping the body mount it needed, there are heaps of memebers that have done it so plently of ideas and different ways to do it!

Ahhh finally the lockers have arrived. But i asked how much they would charge to fit them and they quoted $2000 bucks ti fit them. Bugger that. Illa do them my self. In the end 4500 roughly for both lockers and installed hahaha hell no.
