Posted: Wed, 08 Jul 2015 7:00 +0000The brake pedal on my Hilux never felt flash and was as you describe. I used to give it a quick pump each time out of habit, then I got a nice firm pedal, but at the lights, always felt like you could quash it down further.

On diesel Hiluxes that don't have the mods that you have, the brake feel isn't all that good at idle.

When I am doing a master cylinder, I never touch the push rod. I haven't measured in there, either.

Feels smooth and solid, driving over corragated road at speed soaks it up but needs more adjustment.

Posted: Thu, 09 Jul 2015 2:45 +0000Didn't get to adjust the front height today but found out my rear is 20mm too high for 50mm lift, this is measuring from top of bump stop to bump pad on the chassis which should be 100mm for 50mm lift..
Hopefully the front won't require much adjustment and I won't lose down travel!
