Trolly Jack and stands

Postby signmaster on Wed, 21 Sep 2011 3:58 +0000

I am thinking of buying a trolly jack and some jack stands for my Hilux.
Just not sure of the best rating and lift height required.
Thinking of this jack:

Any advise appreciated.

looks good, I got the smaller one but it would not lift the lux up high enough when I changed the struts and leafs, had to put 4 pavers under the trolly jack, looks like time for a new trolly jack for me as well, I got there 2 tone axail stands they were the tallest ones they had, they are good.
Live for today, as tomorrow is not here yet.

That looks pritty good value for $99.....Today i bought a Blue Point Low profile jack that lifts to 595mm heigh. Its the highest lifting jack in the Blue point range of jacks.
With a three inch lift you wouldnt want the max lift much less unless you want to chock timber under it to lift the wheels off the ground....

Blue Point (snap on trucks) have a sale on at the moment $490plus gst with a set of jack stands thrown in....
******If you can ignore it its not a real problem******
