Donaldson filters

Postby lais817 on Wed, 30 Mar 2011 4:03 +0000

Guys, has anybody had any experiences, good or bad wiht Donaldson filters? They look the goods and I've read some good things about them, and found this: http://www.donaldsontoolbox.com.au/docu ... bsmall.pdf which lists all their part numbers for Hilux filters and the like. I was toying with the idea of making a cutom airbox and sticking in one of their filters but I don't have enough info on the subject at the moment.

Hey mate a lot of truck dealerships round here sell Donaldson Filters and they are good quality. Another brand you could look into is fleetguard which are just as good.

That's what I was thinking too oldrev, have since found out that the use them in the Loaders and haul trucks here at the mine so I know they'll be able to cope with our lovely red dust up here!

Girt, I checked out Fleetguard, their website is absolutely appaulingly designed, but I THINK that I worked out they don't make a direct replacement for the D4D yet.

KTM..... :D

Cummins filtration are the Aust. agents for Fleetguard. http://www.cumminsfiltration.com/html/en/index.html
Yes their website is crap, the catalogue is American based and out of date but their product is second to none, they manufacture genuine filters for some very big names in industry.
Contact them in Melbourne by phone for cross reference part numbers, and agents in your area.
