Im pretty sure they are all tuneable. At least on the fuel side anyway. If yours does boost then you will have had to plug into the map sensor just in front of the throttle body as well as each injector. If not then its just adjusts the fuel

Ok ok. Been doing a bit of reading and after much thinking and scratching head looks like the Steinbauer with larger exhaust is the way to go. Maybe Sprintbooster later..
Have racked up 2500km on the new 1 and not impressed with power after getting out of a stock 70 000km engine. A few people have said wait for it to loosen up and also the larger tyres will affect power but stuff waiting. Want it now. Who is everyones go to man in Victoria for the job??

Highoctane it's not the boost controller that it plugs into. It plugs in to the map sensor which is on the right hand side if your inter cooler just before the throttle body.
I spent ages trying to find the boost controller to but alas haha

I think you'll get more bites if you put in the For Sale section so that everyone can see the advertisement. ;)

After a few enquiries I have received an email back from HorsePower Factory over in Dandenong. They can do the Steinbauer, turbo back 3inch exhaust, all labour for fitting, testing and tune for $2815. Need the Hilux for a day. No mention of exhaust brand so might be an inhouse job.

@Homer72, i had a long conversation with Steinbauer today just to Double check everything. The stock Module for ours is $1450 but :) , if you have the 3" Exhaust you will have to go the next Module which controls the Turbo actuator as he put it, that way you wont get any issues with the Turbo or fault codes........ and he repeated DO NOT GO THE STOCK Module, you must go the Next up.

The next model up is $1950 in sydney Fitted and takes 80 minutes to fit. Mine is being done on Friday, Steinbauer claim 157Kw + , so this will be rather interesting to see how she performs after friday.

Nice work SB. Will be watching with interest how yours performs. Horsepower Factory have a really good name down here so have no problem getting them to do it. Will check with them about the upgrade module as I will be getting a 3 inch fitted as well.

Glad I read this! Didn't realize it was an entirely different unit if you have a 3" exhaust!!

100% different Module, it has the Turbo actuator module to attach, as well as the Steinbauer. 157Kw is a big claim up from 126 but hey its been seen before.
