Hi guys
I have a Toyota hilux 2006 tray Ute
5 speed manual.

I have a knocking noise coming from the left hand side of the Ute somewhere.
With a passenger in the car there’s no knock.
When turning right around a corner and all the weight on the left hand side of the Ute no knock.

I’m getting the knock with no weight at all and going over slight bumps in the road dosent have to be much for it to come on.

I’m blown away so any help would be great.

I have been under the car high and low cannot see a thing loose bouncing up and down cannot find any noise.
Cab mounts all seem good also.

Passenger side seat belt?

Have you checked all the Tray Mounts are good & tight? I have seen them work loose occasionally. The other one that happens is the fold down tail gate & sides can make a noise if the Plastic tube piece has come out of the hinges.

If none of these things help you find it, let us know, there's a million different things to make noise on a ute.
