I made the necessary incisions into the flares, inner guards and quarter panels as per the guidance in this thread.
At full lock the body mount is just rubbing but keeping in mind I haven't got another wheel alignment done yet. I asked the bloke at the tyre shop if they could adjust the castor to give it a bit more room and he looked at me like I was idiot :/ more research required here I think.
Thank you very much to everyone that has helped me and put up with me. They certainly have transformed the truck off road.

Cheers!

Cheers guys! went for a quick wheel in Medowie on Saturday and i'm very impressed with the KM2's. Almost rolling the car twice didn't do my confidence any favours but I'll get there 8-)
I've started my build thread too -finally lol viewtopic.php?f=50&t=15044
it's a work in progress...

I'll endevour to get to Pro Axle this week and get a wheel alighnment done to give me the little bit of clearance I need to miss the body mount. She just rubs atm at full lock.

The BFG KM2 MT are awesome, can't fault them at anything so far.
Are you going to widen your flares?

Not too bad so far... 8-)

Looks like the tread is inside the guard but the sidewalls stick out a little so I think I'll leave it. I don't intend to have these wheels on day to day.

Gday All

I have a 2012 SR5 lux and have just fitted 285/75/16

Fit all sweet but occasionly just rub on the body mount behind where the front guards used to be and after i trimmed a bit of the flare.

Can they move the wheel forward slightly in an alignment and who is the best person to do the alignment in adelaide?

Thanks

Don't go to a tyre place as they rarely know anything about that, go to a suspension place.

Cheers mate i had to go neg 13 to get the 16" rims to fit over the calipers. Only just hits the chassi and nearly got all the trimming done on the body mount.

Does look pretty mean with the neg 13 and nearly all the tyre tread is in the guards with just the wall of the tyre out the guards.

Hoping the alignment should fix the chassi bit if they adjust the caster forwards a bit.
