A good driver will never smoke a clutch prematurely. I like a gearbox. Raw mechanical contact. i have never smoked a clutch in my last 3 Utes. After towing excavators, Bobcats, hard sand driving. It's all how you drive it. I like being able to choose a gear and hold a gear. Loading up a diesel without too many revs is more important than you think. A clutch is 1000bux. Drive in drive out. A transmission can be thousands.

Each to their own. I'm not saying they aren't good. Autos make sand driving a lot easier and the best tow vehicle I've ever had was a d4d auto hiace.

Has any one got the sequence to make the seat belt alarm go off. The old sequence does not work.
Too many paddocks and stops and starts in my country.

Would completing the wiring circuit in the seat belt catch do the trick? or disconnecting the weight sensor in the seat? :?:
Got to be a thread in here somewhere...

$5 dog harness from a pet shop. Works for the back seat with the dog on the seat.

Thanks for the replies. I might go to the wizz kids at toyota for this one and let you know if I get the sequence. Meantime above will do tks. Time will sort these new ones out. Heaps of things like headlights on all the time. etc. need to be sorted.

The dash mat should have little pull / rip out sections pressed into it so you can remove them for the light sensor on the dash. If you take the dash mat off the dash you will see a sensor at the front near the window. This tells the lights to turn on and off. If the dash mat covers this the car thinks it is dark and therefor turns your lights on.

Hope that makes any sense at all!

Ryan1kd - No dashmat yet. I mean the daytime lights and the full lights going on in the shed when parking etc. Heard of a mate that disconnected the seatbelt alarm under the seat. Might have a go at that.

Look into that one carefully, may affect the seatbelt pre tensioners or air bags in the seat.

I just disconnected the what im assuming is either the seat belt latch sensor or the weight sensor under my drivers seat. problem solved.
