Clic-On CB Handpiece Mounts

For those of us that aren't too keen on drilling holes in the dash to mount CB radio hand pieces ...

Have one on its way and will report back when fitted.

Yeah it is tad but at $40 a pop to me equates to $20 a hole (x 2) in your dash.

Your right a bit expensive but easier and quicker than boring holes.
Got mine from 'Contact Communications Web Sales' when I bought the uhf [TX3440].
I stuck the two piece handset holder together with Super Glue and stuck it to the Clic ON bracket with one of the 3M things.
So far cant fault it but proberly would have made one like the one on the how to fit a UHf post if I had seen it first.

I got one for a PDA mount. Someone on here (Steve9R) put me on to them about 15 months ago. I like it. I got the one that mounts closer up high nearer the steering wheel near the air vent.

Clic-On showed up today, fitting took all of 20 seconds- perfect.

Fella's by the looks of these centre mount ones, they cover part of the air vent.
Is this the case?

mate, they barely cover any of it, not noticeable, doesnt affect air flow etc. and the air direction controls are still fine. i reckon its the best place for a phone (where i have mine), its a great design.

got 2 of em and love em both 1 for GPS and the other for my UHF mic will get pics up soon

ive had my one for years now (and had em in all my cars for my phone/gps' for years prior as well)..

there's a pic of mine with the phone in it in my profile. You cant see the bracket, but its the left hand side one that i use..
