Standard SR5 wheels and tyres on sand

Hi all,

Doing a trip next week for some beach fishing in the new N80. I've always had 33-35inch tyres so I'm worried about the profile on the 18inch tyres and not having the right footprint. Anyone got any advice? Should I be right or should I be worried? It's quite a Shelly loose grit sort of beach. Not concerned about the trend as roadys are usually pretty good but yeah

Thanks for any help!!

No problems what so ever, 60 series is still a good profile, start at 24 psi see how it goes.

Well obviously they're not going to offer as much flotation on the sand as 33s or 35s are but highway terrains aren't too bad in most sand situations. Just get your pressures right. You won't need to drop them as low as LT casing all terrains to get the same nice bagged shape.

Standard rims and tyres at Fraser Island. No drama at all. Dropped to around 20 psi

in really soft sand (like dust) 10-8 PSI is all what you need
