Nice lux. Did you use snake racing 10mm strut spacer for extra front lift?

Fantastic pictures! Just wondering if you had much of an issue with water getting into your tray during the water crossing? Did you do anything to prevent water leaking in to the tray?

hi Smithyworld, nice truck. What is the underbody rust protection? Is it Endrust? where did you get it done? (I note that someone has asked you where Norman Park is yet your profile says you are in Mona Vale Sydney) What was the cost please? Also, any problems with the extra offset on the DC1s. I was going to fit them but chickened out and fitted ROH with the correct offset but the DC1s look great. Cheers mogofo

I am sure it does effect the power a little but not enough to notice or bother me.

Hey Dusty, the packers sit in the shoe where the top of the spring sits. Basically it just gives about 10mm extra height in the suspension. Helps prevent rubbing etc when you have bigger tyres like mine.

Sorry sent by accident. I have decided to get a 2 inch lift and happy to do a touch of trimming guards. I was thinking of running 265x75x16 Cooper ATR or MT ATZ as living in Sydney it is mainly black top driving. I luv the look of the MTZ but thought they may not be as good for every day use?.Mate I would appreciate your advice. The downside of having to wait for my new car to arrive is I have too long to think about all the options! PS I luv your photo work particularly the wildlife stuff my sons are fanatics in that department.

Hi Chris, I know I have asked you before but I still have'nt sorted out my wheel tyre package, reading all the forum posts and the dramas a few guys have been having I have tried to find a rim I like with a closer offset to the originals. I keep coming back to the DC-1 as my favourite even though is has the wrong offset. Your truck looks great. If you started again would you still be happy to go with that offset?

Alby - I am running 32 inch tyres and had problem with rubbing after doing a 2 inch lift. There no chance of getting these under there with out a lift. I think 30 inch is the maximum you can run.

Great looking unit. I have a dual cab on order and are wanting to do a wheel and tyre upgrade. Do you thing that combination you have will work without doing a lift?

I had some rubbing. Fixed with a bit of flare and inner wheel arch moulding trimming. ARB did packers too.
