Changed the head lights at last

Howdy

I decided the standard head lights arent that good to look at, so added one pair of angel eyes with 35w HID's and the chrome billet grill and all done , works a treat and throw's alot of light , all adjusted and perfect....... enjoy

I also did the tail lights as well so there all LED's now too .........

Headlights $385 per Pair,

HID Kit $499 for Hi-lo

Rear smoked LED tail lights $199 a pair

Billett grill $125

2 hours to install the lot , Im not into harcore 4x4 offroading im more the soft roader type so i decided a more cosmetic facelift is for me.

I will take some tomorrow night........ and upload

The HID Kit you can get from either ebay and get the 4200K kit not the 6000k

The headlamps themselves i got from a seller on Ebay , there on there all the time,

Easy install and look great at night

Looks great. can you show us where you put the relays for the HIDs under the bonnet? Why did you get the 4200K instead of the 6000K? would you be able to tell us the ebay sellers name as I cant find any for Hilux in OZ?

I found some on ebay that looked good but was wondering if there is any wiring changes needed or do they use the existing plugs from the original headlights and parkers? where does the 5 leds get their power from?

Hey im looking at getting these angel lights aswell, that last post link has them for $195 for the set, that seems heaps cheaper then the other pair on there, are these ok?
Are the HIDS worth it, 500 bucks for headlights seems heaps exxy? will standards be ok with the angel lights?

Thanks,

Standards are fine mate just upgrade the Bulbs with some Narva Crystal blues or something like that, i ran them before the HID's

were those headlights just plug in and go H20PRF ?? or did they need some changes in wiring from headlights and park lights?
