Best circuit to use for worklight?

Best circuit to use for worklight?

Hi team,

I did a bit of a search but couldn't find a good answer.

I have an 07 single cab workmate, I'm planning to put an LED worklight on the headboard to light up the tray at night. I'm keen to have it running off the Aux circuit

I'll probably throw an extra plug in while I'm at it - just for a bit of future proofing. Probably just to pull another light off, or maybe an inverter

What is the best place to tap into for power supply? Last Hilux I ran through the cigarette lighter circuit. I'm assuming there might be some empty spots in the fusebox in the workmates, but I don't know anything about adding to fuseboxes...

Thanks, Kit.

I'd personally run a relay that got triggered by the cigarette circuit. Then run from the battery, through a fuse, to the relay then whatever load your heart desires. My thoughts.
