Hilux Output Shaft Play

Hi Everyone, first post on the site. Some great info and look forward to contributing where I can.

I have been reading and searching for some issues I have with my 2009 SR5 Hilux. I have a lot of play in the front passenger side output of the diff to CV shaft. I haven't pulled one of these apart before so called past mechanic who has said they will replace the CV Shaft but the issues to me seems to be in the diff, not the cv shaft.

Through reading on this site it seems quite common for there to be a lot of play on the passenger side shaft, and as yet mine is not leaking any oil. I do have a clicking noise but believe that to be from the drivers side shaft and need to investigate that issue further.

So could anyone confirm for me;

The movement is from a worn bearing, not the CV shaft itself?
Should I be worried about this much play if its not leaking oil?
Are Pedder's CV shafts any good? that's what's been recommended?

Looks exactly like mine man, been like it for years without fail. I have replaced the seal on that side a couple of times but that from play in some horrible s#*t!
